What can Osteopathy do for you?
Osteopathy (non-physician) is a gentle, hands-on manual therapy that treats a wide variety of ailments and is an appropriate treatment for all ages. Unlike other healing modalities, osteopaths examine the entire body to find the underlying cause of an issue rather than only treating your symptoms. Using their hands, they are able to feel the body’s intricate and complicated systems and work to improve range of motion, tissue tension, alignment, blood flow, and nerve supply to overused and injured areas causing your complaint. This approach leads to a decrease in pain and stress in the body, resulting in improved function and mobility and a decrease in pain.
